A twist on a classic Old-fashioned cocktail.
Port Taylor Fladgate 10 Years Old Tawny 3/4 oz. (2,5cl)
Whiskey Bulleit Bourbon (Fat Washing with Peanut Butter) 1 oz. (3cl)
Banana flavoured Salted caramel 1/3 oz. (1cl)
Bitter Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate 1 Barspoons
Fat Washing Bourbon with Peanut Butter:
Whiskey Bulleit Bourbon 23 oz. (70cl)
Peanut Butter 1/4 cup (50g)
Banana flavoured Salted caramel:
Liquid Caramel 17 oz. (50cl)
Banana (with the peel) 2 units
Recipe: Stir all the ingredients over ice and strain into a old-fashioned glass over one large ice cube.
Garnish: Dehydrated banana wet in cocoa.
Fat Washing Bourbon with Peanut Butter Recipe:
Fill a pot with water and put it on low heat. In a water bath, put the peanut butter to melt, let it become liquid.
Then in a container add the whiskey to the melted peanut butter. Take the container with the mixture to the freezer for 24 hours. In this process the fat freezes, leaving the liquid whiskey with a peanut butter flavor. Strain the mixture well through a coffee filter. Store cold up to 1 month.
Banana flavoured Salted caramel Recipe:
Cut the banana into small pieces and reserve the peel. Place the liquid caramel in a pan (you can buy it ready-made or choose to make your own). Add the broken banana to pieces, along with its peel and the salt.
Go stirring and cook at low temperature for about 2 hours.
After that, let it cool and strain through a strainer. Store cold up to 2 weeks.
